I have read many articles and as i come from holland i am a bit confused with the meaning of clipping and ticks.
So i installed the addon MFclip on ppl's advise to test my result's.
I am keeping channeling MF all the time till my timer of the DP VT or MB reaches almost 0,5 sec to 0 and recast my spells,so i am watching timers carefull to recast on time and go back to my MF again SWP is alway's up !!

I have installed MFclip and here are my results tested on Hc dummy.
Good timer id but dont know the thing what ment with Clipping ??
Hope any one can explain the dummy here to the meaning of the clippin and the tick's so i can understand the meaning of it since i a bit a newbee on it.
But still want to gain more DPS !!

here's my arm Link : http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet ... n=Gothealz

Read the tooltip for Mindflay. It ticks 3 times in total over the course of its cast.

A "Tick" is a periodic source of damage over the duration of a cast or buff. When you "Clip" a spell it means that you didn't let it tick its final time. This is VERY bad. You don't recast VT as soon as it has 1 GCD of time left, you recast it after your last MF is done as well.

What you want is to:

1: Avoid losing the last tick of Mind flay (clipping, bad)
2: Minimise the delay between the last tick of Mind flay and the start of your next spell.

These two objectives are in conflict because if you push your key for the next spell too early, the server will cancel the Mind flay cast before the last tick, which means you just spent ~2/3 of a GCD channeling for nothing. If you wait too long, you have additional dead time where the Flay cast is finished but the server hasn't recieved the message that you're trying to cast something else.

If you have very low latency (<100) you can macro all your spells like this:

cast [nochanneling] mind blast

and just mash that when flay is about to finish. This is NOT viable if you have higher latency, because of the increased 'dead time' before your next spell cast.

If you have higher latency what you'll want to do is get a castbar addon (gnosis is probably the best at the moment) that shows ticks + latency. PUSH THE BUTTON FOR YOUR NEXT SPELL WHEN YOUR MIND FLAY CAST REACHES THE LATENCY OVERLAY FOR THE LAST TICK - if your latency is unstable press the button for your next cast at approximately the 'floor' value of latency, so you don't risk clipping flay. e.g. my latency runs between ~200-350, so I aim to hit my next spell with ~ 200 ms left on flay.

Edit: get tuskarr's on your boots, and replace the quick gems with reckless.

Your vamp touch uptime is also pretty low, you should try to start recasting with ~ 1 second left on the dot so you don't clip but minimise the down time.
