Reposting here:

I've been thinking this for a while now, but because of the recent Haste + SWP changes it popped into my mind again.

Its referring to the forum structure.

Currently shadowpriest.com has numerous sub forums of varying activity.

Now the thing that bugs me is that it's often hard to focus discussion. Whatever topic we discuss, it affects at least 2 subcategories at all times and often sparks sub discussion on these forums. This leads to Mods having to redirect the discussions to other forums or stuff being discussed twice or more.

Hence I propose the following changes:

Announcements - (ok)
Welcome - (ok)
List of Raiding Shadowpriests - (a relic from the Vanilla WoW days and early TBC....why is it still around? Made sense when Nikitabanana and Beckon were 2 of the very few active raiding Shadowpriests, but now?)
Suggestions (well, idk....ok I guess)
Newcomer Land (again, what's the point? Does anybody actually read it?)

General Chat - (a prime forum needs to stay)
Bitch and Moan -(must have added that for a reason)
Off-Topic can stay
Videos - (not really worth an own subforum imo. Should be incorporated into the PvE and PvP Forums)
Guild Recruitment -(fair enough)
Raids - (rename to PvE Forums)
PvP - (should stay)
Rep Farming - (kill it...it's a PvE topic with 11 threads since WotLK..made sense in TBC, but not anyome)
Profession - (undecided, could be splitted into PvP/PvE discussion as well, but doesn't have to be)
Combat Log Parsing (could be merged with Gear check me, as it's kind of similar)

Spellcasting - (why is it separated from the Gear discussion when both are about the same stats ---> Merge with Geardiscussion and form an own Theorycrafting suboforum)
Talents - (Specc Discussions are really part of PvP/PvE topics)
Mods - Mods don't need 4 subforums, one would do just fine --> merge them
Discussion about other speccs and classes really doesn't seem to make sense anymore.

So at the end of the day we'd have:

-Community stuff-
Announcements
Welcome/Forum rules
Feedback/Suggestions

-General-
Chat
Bitch and Moan
PvE
PvP
Professions
Off-Topic

-Theorycrafting-
Gear and Spell Analysis

-Mods-
Mods, Addons and Macros

-Other Speccs-
Other speccs

End result would be a much more focused discussion and less clatter.
