Xeo UI

UPDATED FOR 3.3.2

compatible screen resolutions:
1920x1200
1680×1050 (haven't tested it, but I'm told it works)
1440x900 (haven't tested it, but I'm told it works)

Image Updated December 13, 2009

My goal is to have the most informative things at my disposal in the least amount of space, and still look good. All the essential things I look at while raiding (cooldowns, dots timers, my unit frame, target unit frame) are close to each other along with a large castbar for timing precision. I also like having 75% of the screen empty so I can see what's going on around me. This UI is not set up for levelling (no xp bar, but you could add one) or PVP. There are not any arena specific addons, and you'll only be able to see 25 out of the 40 people in AV. It's pretty much a solo/farming/raiding UI. Everything is tweaked and perfected around 10/25 man raiding.

Raid/party visuals would be nice with (de)buffs visible

Probably a stupid question, but would I have to re-arrange everything if I where to use this on my 1680x1050 monitor?

That's the common resolution for 24-25" wide screen lcd's.

I've decided to have a go at resizing this beauty to 1680x1050 tomorrow when I get gametime, but I suck at UI's so don't know how it will turn out:\

EDIT: Didn't have to resize anything:)

Isn't that fixable with UI scale, allthough badly?

Really great looking UI, just a bit bloated when soloing imo. May I ask what kind of cooldown timers you use? :)

Only problem I got with this UI so far, is that the Dot timer often fail to keep track of VT, but this is something I should report to the author of that addon in stead I suppose.

Here's the proof of not having to resize anything, except Omen and Recount ofc.

EDIT: Wth, didn't notice the minimap was out of position, wasn't like that earlier today:\

ahhh very very cool

it looks like you need to fix a couple things (not a big deal):
- resize recount so it fits in the black box :) it looks like you have it unlocked in the screenshot, so you were probably already working on that
- change the bar background on recount to Aluminum so it matches the rest of the bars in the UI
- move the minimap like you said

and i forgot to tell you one thing:
the cooldown timers above the chat and above your unitframe always seem to start out expanding down after a login... i dont know why this is and im not sure how to permanently fix it. maybe an update to CDT3 will make it work correctly after every login
but to fix it after you log in, do this:
- type /cdt
- click the + next to Group Settings
- click on the Group Settings Tab
- uncheck, and then recheck, the Grow Downwards tab
- do the same thing under the CDT tab

now the cooldown timer bars should grow up instead of down over top of the UI stuff
it seems backwards... because it is
maybe the author of CDT3 has fixed it in an update, but i havent downloaded it in awhile

it's pretty annoying because i have to do that little fix every time i log in

i edited the .lua file of CDT3 in the latest version of the UI package, so this is no longer a problem
